Effective April 24, 2020 the Federal Reserve issued an interim amendment to Regulation D deleting the six-per-month limit within each statement cycle from a savings or money market account. In response to this interim regulatory change, and until further notice, Bank of Millbrook customers will have unlimited transfers and withdrawals from these accounts without a fee.
Checking with interest for people who write a lot of checks. Keep the
minimum balance, and you’ll get unlimited checks with no fee.
Super Now Account
Higher interest rate checking for people who have fewer checks to write.
There is a per check fee for Super Now accounts.
No minimum balance is required to open an account.
Interest is accrued daily on balances over $150.00.
Certificate of Deposit
A certificate of deposit or CD is a time deposit. CDs are similar to savings accounts
in that they are insured and thus virtually risk-free (CDs are insured by the FDIC).
They are different from savings accounts in that the CD has a specific,
fixed term (three months, six months, or one year).
Individual Retirement Account
An Individual Retirement Arrangement (or IRA) is a retirement plan account
that provides some tax advantages for retirement savings. There are several
