Meredith Marsh Tiedemann, CPWA®, Senior Vice President and Trust Officer
A Certified Private Wealth Advisor®, Mrs. Tiedemann has been in the banking and investment advisory services for over 30 years. Her career in banking began in the Hartford, CT area with Connecticut National Bank and its predecessors (Shawmut Bank and Fleet Bank) working with executives and private banking clients. Prior to joining the Bank of Millbrook in 2015 she was a Vice President and Trust Officer at Salisbury Trust Wealth Advisory (a division of Salisbury Bank). She holds the designation of Certified Private Wealth Advisor ®. The CPWA® is only awarded to those who meet extensive experience requirements, have successfully completed rigorous coursework in advanced wealth management strategies at the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business in association with the Investments and Wealth Institute®. The designation is an advanced credential created specifically for wealth managers and advisors who work with high‐net‐worth clients. She has an undergraduate degree from Smith College. Mrs. Tiedemann is currently a board member of the Northeast Community Center in Millerton, NY.
Eliot C.L. Clarke, Vice President and Trust Officer
Mr. Clarke joined the Bank of Millbrook in early 2019. A Millbrook native, with deep ties to the community, he spent the last several years working in Real Estate where he built relationships and fine-tuned his ability to understand client’s needs. Prior to that he was in television production in both New York and Los Angeles. Mr. Clarke majored in Economics at the University of Vermont and Boston University. He has studied for the Level 1 CFA designation and recently completed the CFA Institute Investment Foundations Program. He is a recent graduate of the Trust School through the New York/American Bankers Association.
Barbara S. Komondorea, Trust Administrator
Ms. Komondorea has been with the department since its inception in 2001. Prior to joining the bank, she was employed at George T. Whalen Insurance for 6 years. She is responsible for the daily operations, which encompasses execution and settlement of security trades, posting income and distributions, reconciling security positions, and handling client requests.
Laura J. Sumner, Trust Administrator
Laura began her employment with Bank of Millbrook in October of 2018. Previously she worked for Scenic Hudson, Inc., a land conservation non-profit, and also has a background working for executives of media companies in Connecticut. She is a graduate of the University of Rochester and, more recently, obtained a Legal Assistant Certificate from Norwalk Community College. Laura assists the Trust Officer in preparing correspondence, reports and other presentation materials. She also assists with marketing, Trust and Investment Committee meetings and the daily operations of the department.
